How To Change Your Life in 2025

Why Taking Action Is the Only Way to Clear the Fog and Find Your True Path

Does the thought of another year slipping by without real progress fill you with regret—or even dread?

Are you watching the final days pass by wishing you had done more? Do you feel terrified that next year might be a repeat of what you’ve done this year? Or worse…

You are not alone. There are tens of millions of other people out there who feel exactly the same way.

And the sad truth is that most will repeat these patterns for most, if not their entire lives.

Now if you’re reading this I’m guessing you don’t want to be like most people. Me neither, I can’t think of anything worse.

A year ago I was working in a regular job as the sales manager for a local gym, lifting religiously, doing some martial arts, and feeling completely lost.

I had been trying to build my personal brand on Twitter for a few months & felt like I was spinning my wheels.

My goal was to launch a high ticket online coaching offer & sign enough clients to be able to quit my job in March & go all-in on entrepreneurship.

The next 6 months played out completely different to how I expected. I launched my coaching business, signed one client, and then gave up.

Then I launched a marketing agency which started off well enough for me to quit my job in March as planned, but I quickly realised I didn’t want to do it, and gave up again.

Next I decided I was going to start building my personal brand & started working as a high ticket closer to make some money on the side. This quickly turned into an obsession.

I thought making money through sales would be easy. I thought wrong. It has been the hardest thing I’ve ever worked on & I’m still going 8 months later.

The reason I mention any of this is because I have gained something I didn’t plan on receiving throughout all of this:

Perspective.

Each failed venture wasn’t a waste—it was a tool. Each one revealed something about what I truly wanted, peeling back another layer of the fog that had obscured my path.

These are the tools that I used to unlock parts of my mind that I had never ventured into before. And slowly but surely I started to see the bigger picture more clearly.

Just like when you walk around the map on GTA for the first time & clear the fog of war. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. And you can see things that were once hidden.

You’re probably sat there right now thinking “what has this got to do with me crushing 2025? And here’s your answer:

It’s YOUR TURN to journey into the unknown. Don’t sit there in analysis paralysis about what you should & shouldn’t do. Just do stuff. You learn nothing without taking action.

It probably won’t go as planned but I can guarantee that it will move you closer to whatever it is that’s hiding in your internal fog of war—begging to be found.

The process of reaching your goals isn’t about getting it right the first time.

It’s about elimination—crossing things off the list until all that remains is the thing you’re meant to do.

And the clues are already there, scattered throughout your life. Pay attention to what energizes you. Those things? They’re not random. They’re your compass.

It’s time to follow them.

Oliver.
